About the Position

We are looking for a Process Yield Optimization Engineer to join our team at Jabil Circuit. As a member of our Quality Assurance Department, you will play a crucial role in analyzing process yields and implementing corrective actions to improve product quality and yield.

Key responsibilities include:
  1. Monitoring production line yields and collaborating with team members to resolve issues.
  2. Conducting experiments and process capability studies to enhance quality and yield.
  3. Aiding in data collection and following up on corrective actions to ensure effectiveness.
  4. Maintaining open communication channels throughout the production line and ensuring seamless shift transitions.
  5. Participating in MRB meetings to ensure proper disposition of discrepant material.
  6. Guiding Quality Technicians in creating effective visual aids for inspections and collecting key dimension data for SPC analysis.
  7. Ensuring process compliance with Deviation Authorization and staying updated on changes to effective and expiry dates.
  8. Contributing to the implementation of new processes and following up on estimated effective dates.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work closely with QE and senior QE personnel to analyze process yields and implement corrective actions. They will also collaborate with team members to maintain open communication channels throughout the production line and ensure seamless shift transitions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be familiar with quality control procedures.
