Key Account Business Developer

Funding Societies | Modalku is a leading digital financing platform in Southeast Asia, providing business financing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). As a Key Account Business Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing new business opportunities and enhancing existing relationships with our clients.
About the Role
You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with our partners and customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop new business opportunities in target segments
* Be responsible for achieving overall business objectives with customers in target segments
* Work closely with customers & partners to enhance and build strong, long-lasting relationships to drive target sales
* Lead and partner with customers for business strategies implementation and plan execution
* Conduct regular reviews with customers on different business aspects
* Prepare proposals on commercial terms for products, in accordance with company policies
* Keep abreast of competition
* Execute continuous improvement activities to enhance sales processes, sales plans, and customer satisfaction
* Follow up on customer issues, respond to customer orders and queries
* Inform current and prospective customers of promotions/new products
* Ensure monthly sales targets are met
Requirements
* SPM holders with minimum 2 years sales experience OR Diploma/Degree holders with minimum 1 year sales experience
* Sales experience in FMCG or telecommunications industry
* Strong interest and passion in sales
* Ability to work in a team and independently
* Meticulous and able to deliver tasks or targets/KPIs within agreed time frame
* Own transport and able to travel out of Klang Valley (if needed) for site visitation
* Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, speaking and writing
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
