Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will support the formulation of our business strategy and direction, focusing on the Green Mobility space. This is a unique opportunity to take on a strategic role in a high-growth and emerging industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Support the formulation and refinement of our business strategy, mainly for the existing green mobility business, while also overseeing strategies for other integrated clean energy solutions.
  • Market Research: Drive market research, scenario planning, and financial modeling to provide strategic recommendations to our leadership team, including new market entries.
  • Industry Trends: Stay close to industry policies, trends, and learnings across the globe and region to support and sharpen our business strategies.
  • OKR Management: Shape, set, and monitor OKRs (objectives, key results) to drive business towards our strategy set.
Focal Point for Strategic Business Updates
  • Strategic Initiatives: Understand how strategic initiatives impact our wider ambitions and drive governance around business progress and performance tracking.
  • Leadership Updates: Drive/support preparation for group leadership and board updates, including business strategies, performances, and future plans.
  • Business Unit Alignment: Provide input/feedback to key business units within the business in their undertakings of which impacts the execution of the strategy aligned on.
  • Group Strategy Alignment: Work closely with the wider group strategy team in aligning green mobility's strategy to the group's integrated solutions.
  • Internal and External Communication: Lead crafting of internal and external messages for communicating business views and priorities for contributing to the green mobility ecosystem.
Drive/Support Strategic Projects
  • Business Cases: Build business cases for exploring new segments, solutions, markets, or strengthening partnerships (including but not limited to organic/inorganic partnership/JV structures).
  • M&A Evaluation: Drive buy-side M&As, including strategic evaluation, due diligence, and valuation.
  • Deal Execution: Coordinate with internal teams, targets, and external advisors to execute deals efficiently.
  • Stakeholder Management: Prepare investment committee and board papers to present findings and recommendations of M&A opportunities to our leadership team.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Demonstrated track record in corporate strategy and/or M&A and/or consulting in a fast-paced business. At least 4-5 years of working experience (we also welcome more experienced candidates with 6-8 years' experience).
  • Skills: Able to effectively manage various stakeholders and present ideas and proposals with confidence to win wider team alignment. Structured problem-solving and strong analytical skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-driven, accountable, agile, ambitious, and passionate to make an impact in the green mobility space.
