Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Instrument Specialist to join our maintenance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing all maintenance activities related to instrumentation and electrical systems in the plant.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the instrument and electrical maintenance team in executing daily maintenance activities.
  2. Supervise and ensure the quality of Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Corrective Maintenance (CM) tasks.
  3. Plan, delegate, and monitor maintenance works based on plant priorities and operational needs.
  4. Coordinate with other departments for maintenance scheduling and support during operations and shutdowns.
  5. Participate in SIM1 and SIM2 meetings to align with operation and maintenance activities.

Technical Expertise

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of instrumentation and electrical systems, including calibration, troubleshooting, installation, and commissioning.

Key Skills:

  1. Calibration and Testing: Oversee the calibration of instruments such as pressure gauges, temperature sensors, flowmeters, and level transmitters.
  2. Troubleshooting: Lead in diagnosing and resolving issues in instrumentation, PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and electrical panels.
  3. Installation and Commissioning: Supervise the installation, wiring, and commissioning of control and electrical systems.
  4. Risk-Based Inspections: Execute and lead Risk-Based Inspections (RBI) for electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure reliability and safety.
  5. Process Optimization: Provide technical improvements to enhance plant reliability, efficiency, and energy usage.
  6. Shutdown and RCA: Participate actively in shutdown planning, execution, and root cause analysis (RCA) for plant issues.

Operations Support

The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring proper spare part planning and stock control for electrical and instrument systems, responding to breakdowns, and ensuring contractors comply with Oleon's safety regulations and plant procedures during maintenance work.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the Oleo chemical/chemical process industry.
  2. Strong understanding of Instrument & Electrical.
  3. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a group of people and motivate a team effectively.
  4. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  5. Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP).
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  7. Ability to attend on-call duty if required, or provide remote support when needed.
