We are seeking a skilled Data Centre Project Coordinator to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing advice and consulting services throughout the design and construction phases of data centre projects.

The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in managing multiple parties, vendors, stakeholders, and priorities with various milestones. You will possess strong analytical skills and be highly organized, with excellent communication skills and the ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to clients and teams.

As a technical project manager, you will work closely with client stakeholders, third-party consultants, design consultants, construction management firms, and construction contractors to administer the design on behalf of our clients. You will coordinate, clarify, and track design packages with clients and their third-party contractors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing advice, consultant, and being the authorized representative through all phases of design and construction-related aspects of data centre projects
  • Working with client's stakeholder groups and third party consultants, design consultants, construction management firms, and construction contractors to administer the design on behalf of our client
  • Coordinating, clarifying, and tracking design packages with Client and Client's third-party contractors
  • Managing escalation of design issues to resolution

You will also support contract negotiation with Client's third-party contractors, in alignment with Client's project manager and legal counsel.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution. Preference towards a Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Familiarity with local statutory submissions and approvals process
  • At least 10 years as a Project Manager, Design Manager or similar technical role
  • Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals
  • Strong working knowledge of technical drawings and single line diagrams
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients as well as external team members (architects, contractors, client's representatives, etc.)
