About the Role

As a Senior System Design Engineering Director, you will be responsible for driving and improving our abilities to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert to develop and implement effective strategies for product development and validation.
  • Lead and manage a team of system design engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish validation guidance for customer platforms and drive resource prioritization and task planning.
  • Develop strategic direction for validation automation based on team requirements.
  • Provide day-to-day oversight for the team, with specific responsibilities for feature enablement and validation of various IP for DC GPU products.
  • Drive validation planning for each SoC program as well as execution towards program breakthroughs.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working within the Semiconductor industry blending both engineering expertise with team leadership skills.
  • Experience with PC architecture, PCIe architecture, and microprocessor cores.
  • Understanding of modern x86 microprocessor, Server platform, Data center GPU architecture is highly desired.
  • Test plan and test development experience.
  • Participated in silicon bring up and debug, support to internal engineering teams.
  • Debug skills at both SoC and system level.
  • Familiarity with programming / scripting language (C/C++, Python, Perl, ...).
  • Working knowledge of Server OSes (Linux, Windows).
