Job Title: Technical Presales Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Solutions Expert (SaaS) to bridge the gap between customer requirements and product capabilities, supporting sales teams in closing deals.

About the Role

This position requires close collaboration with sales, product teams, and partners to deliver a compelling value proposition for customers and drive successful sales closures.

  • Work closely with Sales and Partner Teams across the APAC region to ensure successful sales closures by providing technical demonstrations.
  • Arrange and conduct face-to-face discovery meetings and product demonstrations when required.
  • Develop technical solutions (SaaS software) and deliver compelling proof-of-concept demonstrations, including planning and organization.
  • Ensure proposed solutions in the Statement of Work/Scope align with best practices and meet client requirements.
  • Respond to RFIs through the ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with the Product and Technical Teams to relay client feedback on product requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor, and product landscapes.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions, both online and offline.
  • Collaborate with product teams to maintain and enhance product knowledge.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field of studies.
  • 2-5 years of experience working as a Pre-Sales Engineer, Product Specialist, or Solution Engineer in a cloud-based B2B PaaS, IaaS, or SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Fresh graduates or individuals transitioning from another industry with the aptitude to learn are welcome to apply.
  • A positive attitude, meticulous, and strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CRM (Sales/Marketing), collaboration tools, and/or finance and accounting domains.
  • The willingness to travel for business-related activities when required.
  • Familiarity with leading CRM technologies or similar business software is advantageous.
  • Effectively bilingual in business-level English and at least 1 local language for effective communication with local stakeholders.
