- This position plays a critical role in ensuring that Pegatron's import and export operations comply with all applicable trade laws and regulations.
- The successful candidate will provide expert guidance on trade documentation, including the correct classification of goods and the preparation of necessary documents.
- Audit and risk assessment are crucial components of this role, enabling us to identify and address any compliance gaps in our trade operations.
- Liaising with local and international authorities is an essential aspect of this position, as we work to address trade compliance matters and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Engineering, Compliance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in the Johor area.
- Strong understanding of trade laws, customs regulations, and industry standards across Malaysia, particularly in the Johor area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to analyze compliance risks, implement corrective actions, and navigate regulatory challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
Have working experience in the electronic manufacturing industry or Excise Duty License Approved Factory.
