Job Responsibilities

  • We oversee import and export operations to ensure that all relevant trade laws, customs requirements, and regulations are met.
  • Our team provides guidance on trade documentation, including the correct classification of goods using HS codes, obtaining certificates of origin, and other necessary documents.
  • Conducting regular audits and risk assessments enables us to identify and address any compliance gaps in our trade operations, ensuring that our practices align with industry standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Liaising with local and international authorities is an essential part of our role, as we work to address trade compliance matters and resolve any issues that may arise.

Key Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, Engineering, Compliance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in trade compliance, preferably in the Johor area.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of trade laws, customs regulations, and industry standards across Malaysia, particularly in the Johor area.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Problem-Solving: The ability to analyze compliance risks, implement corrective actions, and navigate regulatory challenges is essential for success in this role.
