Corporate Documentation Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate or Commercial Documentation Officer to join our team at OCBC Bank. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and processing various loan documentation, including letters of offer, facility agreements, and other related documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Preparation: Prepare and review loan documentation, including letters of offer, supplemental letters of offer, and notifications.
- Facility Agreement Preparation: Prepare bank's standard documents for cases without involving solicitors, such as letters of earmark and letters of consent from security party providers.
- Document Review: Vet non-standard facility agreements, security documents, and other documents, where necessary.
- Issue Compilation: Compile lists of issues, exceptions, and deviations from the bank's minimum provisions, policies, and requirements relating to legal documentation for relationship managers (RMs) further action.
- Checklist Preparation: Prepare checklists on loan documentation for RMs' further action.
- Documentation Follow-up: Follow up with credit corporation administration (CCA) or RMs for completion of documentation and disbursement of facilities.
- Advice and Support: Provide advice and support on documentation and disbursement of facilities for RMs further action.
- Meeting Attendance: Attend non-standard legal documentation meetings with solicitors, RMs, and/or customers (if necessary).
Requirements:
- Credit Experience: Credit-related experience, including loan documentation.
- Documentation Knowledge: Knowledge/experience in processing of documentation and syndicated loans.
- Banking Experience: Minimum 3 years of banking experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: Independent, self-motivated, resourceful, and excellent interpersonal and organizing skills.
- Results Orientation: Result-oriented and quality driven.
- Pressure Tolerance: Ability to work under tremendous pressure.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
- Language Skills: Fluent in both spoken and written English.
