Assistant Financial Leader for Property Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Controller to provide high-quality financial accounting and reporting support to the property development division of Setia Awan Holdings Sdn Bhd.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Accounts Manager on daily operations and review Company's full set accounts
  • Prepare timely and accurate management and financial reports
  • Assist in preparing meeting materials and participating in monthly/quarterly meetings
  • Monitor projects' budget and budgetary variances
  • Support on accounting, audit, and taxation matters
  • Maintain and monitor chart of accounts for accounting system
  • Review SST reports and ensure tax code is applied correctly
  • Post transactions done by immediate subordinates in the accounting system
  • Ensure all audit schedules are prepared on time

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess a Professional Certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent from a recognized higher learning institution
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience; experience in property development industry is an advantage
  • Excellent command of English and other languages such as Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, and able to meet deadlines
  • Possess good analytical skills, meticulous, multi-tasking, positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills, and follow-up skills
  • Able to build and maintain good relationships both internally and externally
  • Able to work independently under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
