Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical, instrumentation, and control system designs that meet project requirements and industry standards
  • Lead the detailed engineering design of skidded and EPCC process systems
  • Prepare and review key instrumentation deliverables, including:
    • Instrument Index, Datasheets, I/O Schedule
    • Alarm & Trip Setting List, Cable Schedule, JB Wiring Diagram
    • System Block Diagram, Hook-Up Drawing, Layouts
    • Cause & Effect Matrix, Control Narrative
    • Material Take-Off (MTO) for bulk materials

Project Coordination & Compliance

  • Work closely with the Project Manager to understand the full scope of work and execute detailed engineering activities for E&I systems
  • Ensure all designs and installations align with contract specifications, project schedules, and safety regulations
  • Review and interpret project-related specifications to ensure compliance

Technical Expertise

  • Participate in design reviews, HAZOP, SIL assessments, and model reviews
  • Conduct technical bid evaluations and provide input for vendor selection
  • Review and assess instrumentation package vendor data for accuracy and compliance

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in E&I engineering within the oil & gas, refinery, or petrochemical industries
  • Strong background in detailed engineering design for skidded and EPCC process systems
  • Expertise in instrumentation and related electrical components, including P&ID checks, block & loop diagrams, and instrument data sheets
  • Experience with RFQ preparation, technical clarifications, and bid evaluations
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in instrumentation, control systems, and electrical design
