Job Summary

The role of Manufacturing Process Development Engineer at TE Connectivity Corporation involves designing and maintaining tooling and fixtures, supporting MPDE teams and ensuring machine stability on production. We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering and automated assembly machines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors to set up and debug automation machines.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during pilot runs and production start-ups.
  • Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems for automation lines.
  • Maintain effective communication across the company.
  • Update and maintain automation equipment to ensure smooth operation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with automated assembly machines, skilled in fixture/jig design and trouble-shooting.
  • Familiarity with Vision Inspection, Programmable Logic Controllers, Pneumatics, sensors, motors and other motion control devices.
  • Proficiency in Pro-E or SolidWorks, AutoCAD software for 2D and 3D drawing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills.
  • English language skills, able to read technical materials.
