Achieve Group is seeking an experienced Maritime Fleet Director to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and improving the ship inspection regime to ensure safety and quality of the fleet, while also identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with 3rd party inspection companies for inspections, carrying out self-inspections when necessary, and performing administrative work for the inspection regime. They will also be responsible for providing professional advice and recommendations for machinery-related issues for troubleshooting and evaluating conditions of vessels before hiring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and Improve Ship Inspection Regime: Ensure safety and quality of the fleet by working with 3rd party inspection companies.
  • Identify Areas for Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the inspection regime and implement changes.
  • Provide Professional Advice: Provide professional advice and recommendations for machinery-related issues for troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • C/E Experience: The ideal candidate should have sailed as a Chief Engineer (C/E) on container vessels.
  • Technical Superintendent Experience: Served as technical superintendent for container vessels.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
