Design Engineer for Analog Layout Solutions

In your new role, you will be responsible for participating in the development of analog layout designs from scratch. This includes performing routing and layout verification using various tools such as LVS, DRC, Antenna, and others. You will also troubleshoot results and conduct thorough layout design reviews internally and externally with circuit designers.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in CAD tools, specifically Cadence Virtuoso--VXL and Mentor Calibre, in IP/chip integration and verification. Additionally, they will be capable of guiding and coaching junior engineers to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards are met.
Your Profile
We are seeking a highly skilled individual with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Physics or equivalent 4 to 6 years of job experience in the layout design field. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in analog layout from scratch, implementation of analog layout techniques, IR drop/EM analysis, and a deep understanding of analog circuit layout concepts in submicron CMOS technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in block/IP floor planning from scratch
- Perform routing and layout verification using LVS, DRC, Antenna, and other tools
- Troubleshoot results and conduct thorough layout design reviews
- Guide and coach junior engineers for on-time delivery and quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Physics or equivalent 4 to 6 years of job experience in the layout design field
