About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Senior Compliance Assurance Specialist to join our Compliance team at SWIFT. As a key member of this team, you'll play a critical role in driving our compliance strategy forward and ensuring that our operations remain aligned with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in governance, risk and control (GRC), as well as experience with compliance and controls frameworks, compliance reporting, and compliance culture and communication. They'll also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The following are key responsibilities for this role:

  • Leading our Compliance framework review and development
  • Maintaining a comprehensive repository of compliance controls and associated information
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing our compliance roadmap and pipeline
  • Maintaining our company-wide policy framework
  • Creating and maintaining an Assurance Map across the Compliance team
  • Serving as a trusted advisor on monitoring and assurance matters
  • Producing regular compliance reports for stakeholders
  • Tracking and enhancing metrics to measure success and compliance risk
  • Driving innovation in our compliance tools and processes
  • Fostering collaboration with other assurance functions within SWIFT
  • Supporting our compliance culture and training initiatives
  • Coordinating specific compliance projects
  • Evaluating the effectiveness and compliance of relevant controls

This role requires occasional international travel and offers significant growth and learning opportunities.
