Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our financial planning and analysis efforts, ensuring timely delivery of statutory reporting requirements, and providing strategic financial guidance to our management team and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Maintain Financial Systems

Develop and maintain a documented system of accounting policies, procedures, and processes that ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Statutory Reporting and Management Accounts

Ensure timely delivery of statutory reporting requirements and management accounts that provide insights into our company's financial performance.

Financial Planning and Analysis

Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts that support informed decision-making by our management team and Board of Directors.

Cash Flow Management

Manage and improve cash-to-cash cycle, forecast cash flow position to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and business requirements.

Strategic Guidance

Provide strategic financial guidance to our management team and Board of Directors to inform key business decisions.

Cost Reduction and Optimization

Engage in on-going cost reduction or optimization analyses in all areas of the Company.

Performance Metrics and Reporting

Compile key business and financial performance metrics and report to the management team and Board of Directors.

Compliance and Risk Management

Ensure compliance to Malaysia Income Tax Law and Regulations, e.g., Transfer Pricing Documentation and e-Invoice implementation for whole Group.

Relationship Building

Develop external relationships with appropriate contracts, e.g., auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organizations.

Internal Audit and Compliance

Liaison with auditors to ensure annual audit and monitoring is carried out in accordance to statutory requirements.

KPIs and Team Effort

Meeting given KPI that aligned with the department's strategy, which in turn aligned with the overall strategy of the Group.

Training and Development

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed, and participate in the training program arranged by the Company to develop knowledge, skills, and competencies required for work performance improvement purposes.

Communication and Collaboration

Conduct Finance and Account Annual Meeting (on site) to all account staffs to ensure everyone is up-to-date with latest SOP/processes, forms, knowledge sharing, and discussion.
