  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting department, including month-end and year-end processes, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, treasury and budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, fixed asset activity, debt activity, and more.
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce comprehensive financial reports and statements, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles to maintain financial integrity and compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement and manage a standard costing system to enhance cost control and profitability.
  • Review management accounts for timely submission, prepare consolidated accounts, budgets, variance analysis, and profit forecasts to guide the organization's financial direction.
  • Manage the submission of statutory reports, monthly management reports, variance analyses, taxation, audit, and ad-hoc reporting, while liaising with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and company secretaries for matters related to the group of companies.
  • Diligently monitor credit control and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and in a timely manner, performing month-end and year-end closing procedures, including overhead allocations, account reconciliations, and update schedules.
  • Take responsibility for managing cash flow to ensure the organization's smooth operation.
  • Review accounting transactions and invoices, and oversee the maintenance and renewal of office equipment, furniture, fittings, software, and hardware.
  • Participate in other ad-hoc assignments and tasks as requested by the management team.
