This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Field Service Automation Specialist to join our team at ABB Schweiz AG. As a Field Service Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for executing medium to high complex service work in accordance with ABB standard processes and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical/Electronic/Automation/Instrumentation Engineering related disciplines with a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Automation & Controls Systems. You will also have a good understanding of HMI, DCS, Scada, PLC, IT, OT, P&ID, Safety & automation systems with preferred knowledge in ABB Automation Systems (800xA / Symphony S+).

In this role, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers and ensure excellent customer service. You will showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility while taking actions to identify new Service business opportunities for ABB.

Your responsibilities will include performing low to medium Service tasks like installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades and retrofits, repair independently, identifying technical problems and making analysis through remote or on-site activity in different Service categories. You will also ensure customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation, creating and maintaining a good relationship with customers and understanding their needs.

You will coordinate, prepare and ensure that all materials, parts and equipment are available and at the appropriate quality for service activities. You will also prepare all documents and reporting to be signed by the customer representative, reporting work done in a timely manner and following up when needed.
