Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one or more cybersecurity disciplines, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. This position requires expertise in managing and securing various environments and endpoints.

  1. System Focus:
  2. Manage current antivirus on Microsoft Windows Server.
  3. Migrate server environment from antivirus solution to Defender.
  4. Plan and deploy WAF technologies.
  5. Participate in incident response tickets and on-call rotation.
  6. Experience with Azure, containers, Kubernetes, and pipelines.
  7. Strong experience with networking, firewalls, and load-balancers for On-Premises and in Cloud environments.
  8. Good understanding of Virtualization technologies - VMs, Containers, VMware.
  9. Experience in automation with cloud solutions and with Terraform.
  10. Configure and manage Microsoft Defender and Intune for endpoint protection and device management across the organization.
  11. Monitor threat intelligence feeds for the latest email-borne threats.
  12. Identify email-based threats and malicious emails and respond to compromises.
  13. Support secure email protocols, routing, and configuration (e.g., DMARC, DKIM, SPF, DLP, SPAM Filtering).
  14. Previous experience with managing and maintaining key information security systems, including Microsoft Defender EDR, Netskope, Proofpoint, Tenable, Trend Micro, and Intune.
  15. Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, including malware prevention, detection, response, and endpoint management.
  16. Develop and execute comprehensive endpoint security strategies leveraging Microsoft Defender, Intune, and other EDR/MDR solutions.
  17. Lead the implementation and configuration of endpoint security solutions.
  18. Serve as a subject matter expert on endpoint security technologies.
  19. Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate endpoint security incidents.
  20. Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities affecting endpoint security.
  21. Conduct endpoint security assessments, identifying gaps and recommending remediation actions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into overall security architecture and policies.
  2. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior team members and other IT staff on security best practices.
  3. Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies and recommend enhancements.
  4. Participate in incident response tickets and on-call rotation.
