Overview

The Habitat Group is seeking a visionary Marketing Director to lead our marketing and communications efforts. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive growth and support business objectives.

This role requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record of success in marketing and communications. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and positioning of the Group in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the Group's goals and objectives.
    • Oversee brand development and positioning to ensure consistency and alignment across all channels.
  • Marketing Management:
    • Develop and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
    • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviors, and competitive landscape to develop informed marketing strategies.
    • Develop and implement an annual marketing plan, manage the marketing budget, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Work closely with senior management, operation teams, and other business units to align marketing and communication strategies with business objectives.
    • Coordinate with external agencies, stakeholders, business partners, business associates, and vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, PR, and communications, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
    • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing and PR campaigns.
    • Experience in managing a team and working cross-functionally with various business units.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficiency in marketing and PR tools, platforms, and software.
    • Ability to analyse data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Strong project management and organisational skills.
    • Creative thinking with a strategic mindset.
