Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Director to lead our financial operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing group consolidation accounts and financial performance reports.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, as well as implementing internal control procedures and risk management strategies. Strong knowledge of Malaysia Income Tax and company law is an added advantage.

  • Major Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and monitor GL, AP & AR team to ensure accounts, payables, and receivables are kept and paid up to date.
  • Ensure group financial reporting is in order, complies with accounting standards, and meets respective statutory filing and internal consolidation account deadlines and bank review purposes.
  • Assist Financial Controller in timely completing the periodic reporting within the agreed KPI.
  • Support Group financial budgeting and analysis.
  • Review and implement appropriate internal control procedures and risk management.
  • Work closely with Finance and Operations on SOPP implementations and improvements.
  • Liaise with auditors, company secretary, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, and government authorities on related topics.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments and projects assigned by Management from time to time.
