Role Overview

As a Telecommunications Strategist at Maxis Malaysia, you will play a critical role in developing and executing go-to-market strategies for products in the Open Channel.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product offerings are effectively positioned and launched, driving customer acquisition and revenue growth.

This position requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes in the telecommunication business.

About You

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • You possess 10+ years of experience in telecommunications, technology, or a related industry, with a strong focus on go-to-market strategy and execution.
  • You have a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products or services in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

Product Launch & Market Readiness:

  • Develop comprehensive GTM Plans: Create detailed end-to-end GTM execution plans for new product launches, upgrade and service offerings.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Marketing and Regional Sales teams to ensure launch readiness.
  • Ensure channel and product communications are aligned to business objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Facilitate team integration: Act as the liaison between Product Development, Marketing, Sales and Operations to ensure cohesive execution of GTM initiatives.

Market Intelligence & Performance Tracking:

  • Analyse GTM Effectiveness: Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of GTM strategies using performance data and market feedback.
  • Implement data-driven improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for GTM initiatives.
