About the Role
  • The successful candidate must have at least a Secondary School Certificate (SPM) qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the Travel industry is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be highly attentive to inquiries.
  • Proficiency in using a computer and mobile phone for extended periods is required.
  • Basis computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are essential.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary, with company-provided allowances, is also expected.
Your Key Responsibilities
  1. You will deal with overseas Destination Management Companies (DMCs), accommodation providers, or cruise line principals.
  2. You will assist with making bookings through the cruise line's booking engine.
  3. In addition, you will assist with all aspects of tour operations, including itinerary planning, costings, air tickets, ground arrangements, attractions, and other day-to-day activities.
  4. Responsibilities also include assisting with flight bookings through the Global Distribution System (GDS) via Travelport, Sabre, and Amadeus.
  5. You will compile and maintain accurate records of business transactions to ensure proper documentation is filed.
  6. You will record orders for all related tour services.
  7. Full support will be provided for tour package sales and departures.
  8. You will educate customers and partners on products and destination knowledge, providing relevant customer support.
  9. Participation in fieldwork, including airport duties and travel fairs, is also expected.
