Job Profile

Fugro-Geoteam AS is seeking an experienced Senior Geophysicist to join our team. This role involves providing expert advice on geophysical data acquisition and interpretation to clients across various industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with clients to understand their geophysical data needs and provide expert advice.
  • Develop and implement solutions to clients' geophysical data challenges.
  • Conduct complex geophysical work to ensure accurate and high-quality data deliverables.
  • Provide technical input for tenders and assist with the establishment and compilation of project procedures.
  • Lead/coordinate the work of a small team and/or deputise the manager as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven offshore experience in analogue geophysical and / or high-resolution digital seismic survey acquisition, data interpretation and reporting.
  • Strong ability in verbal and written English (technical) language.
  • Some Party Chief / Team Lead experience would also be advantageous.
  • IMCA Job Function criteria for this role will be applied to the review process.
