About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled OpenText Archiving Consultant to join our team at Mettler-Toledo International Inc. as a member of the MT DBS Data Volume management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and administer OpenText archiving solutions for SAP data and documents, ensuring seamless integration with business processes and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop technical specifications, and conduct testing for archive objects, addressing open issues and ensuring system performance.
  • Partner with business key users and power users to establish an effective support structure for SAP archiving and OpenText, providing guidance on best practices and Lean initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance, implement correction notes, and enforce architectural frameworks and tools.
  • Lead projects related to data volume management, including SAP Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), OpenText upgrades, and configuration of ILM technical configuration in OpenText, retention warehouse, extraction methods, etc.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience with OpenText and a good knowledge of the newest OpenText technologies and procedures within an international company with a complex system environment on a global scale.
  • Strong experience in design, implementation, administration, and support of OpenText Content Server, Archive Server.
  • Experience with OpenText product patching, including Archive Server upgrade and migration projects.
  • Experience with SAP integration with OpenText, including OpenText-related document archiving solutions and ECM solutions like J6NY, J6NP, J6NA.
  • Familiarity with OpenText client software like exchange link, desktop link, enterprise scan.
  • Knowledge in SAP ILM for Archiving along with retention functionality.
  • Knowledge in SAP DVM (Data Volume Management), SAP functional knowledge, Linux, and Windows commands.
