We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional to lead our tax functions in Malaysia. As a key member of our Shared Service Centre, you will be responsible for developing and implementing local tax strategies that align with our group's tax objectives and overall business goals.

  • Tax Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement local tax strategies to support the growth of our Malaysian affiliates.
  • Tax Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements for our group's affiliates in Malaysia.
  • Transfer Pricing: Support the development of a Centre of Excellence for transfer pricing compliance within our SSC.
  • Tax Dispute Resolution: Manage tax audits and disputes with tax authorities in Malaysia, ensuring effective resolution and negotiation with revenue authorities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in finance, accounting, law, or related majors.
  • At least 8 years of experience in dedicated tax areas, with a focus on Malaysia.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to deal with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
