Design Team Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Design Team Lead to join our team at Stayrene Management Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior and mid-level designers, providing constructive feedback and guidance to enhance their skills and development.

About the Role

- Oversee design teams and delegate tasks, ensuring that design work meets deadlines and quality standards
- Promote a collaborative and positive team environment

Responsibilities

- Develop and present compelling design concepts that align with client needs and project constraints
- Oversee the design process from conceptual sketches to final designs, ensuring high standards of creativity, functionality, and feasibility
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, balancing budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to meet client objectives

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- 5-10 years of professional experience in interior design, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or lead designer role
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, 3D Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, lighting, and space planning
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively

Working Conditions

- Typically works in an office or design studio but frequently visits project sites for inspections and meetings
- May need to work extended hours or weekends to meet project deadlines
