{"Technical Safety Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Safety Specialist to join our team at Environmental Resources Management (ERM). As a Technical Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance on safety and risk projects, including risk analysis, modeling, and calculations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement robust safety and risk management strategies to minimize hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide recommendations for improvement to design and operations.
  • Participate in safety workshops, including HAZIDS, HAZOPS, and ALARP, and contribute to the development of safety cases and reports.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Support the development of safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; Master's degree and/or professional registration is a plus.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in safety and risk management, with a strong background in technical safety and risk analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
