We are seeking an Accounting Specialist to join our team at ACCA Careers. As an OTC Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering services to our customers by performing accounting tasks outlined in our processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily incoming customer payments and ensure bank statements are booked complete and accurate.
  • Monitor automatically generated supplier payments and process and book ad-hoc manual payments.
  • Cooperate with local sites/GBS customers and Operation to solve discrepancies and queries as outlined in SLA.
  • Create intercompany invoices.
  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closing and reporting by performing accounting tasks like reconciliation of bank accounts and accounts receivable ledger.

The ideal candidate should have knowledge of accounting principles including IFRS and experience from working with Account Receivable related tasks, preferably in an international and/or Shared Service Center environment.

Requirements:
  • Self-motivated, driven and proactive in solving issues as well as suggesting improvements.
  • Familiar with an ERP environment, e.g. SAP.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Has an attention to detail and takes pride in keeping deadlines.
  • Team player.
  • Good communication skills and capability to interact with many stakeholders with a customer service mindset.
