A typical day in this role:
- Perform thorough test coverage analysis to ensure comprehensive product testing.
- Design and implement effective test strategies to validate product functionality.
- Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to ensure accessibility and testability of test points during design phases.
- Coordinate with vendors for test PCB fabrication and layout to meet product requirements.
- Provide manufacturing test support for new product design and introduction, ensuring seamless product launch.
- Develop and implement test programs to validate product performance.
- Design, troubleshoot, and implement test systems and fixtures to meet product testing needs.
- Coordinate with vendors for fabrication of ICT/FCT fixtures to support product testing.
- Conduct design for test reviews as part of a product design team to ensure testability and reliability.
- Perform statistical analysis for testers to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary product development team to drive product innovation and quality.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in test development and engineering.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal) to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
