We're currently seeking a skilled Technical Operations Analyst to join our team in a similar role.

  • Key Tasks:
  • Email Queue Oversight: Monitor email queues closely and address issues/requests promptly.
  • Problem Analysis: Utilize available resources, such as documentation and escalation procedures, to investigate and troubleshoot problems.
  • Task Delegation: Assess issue priorities and assign tasks to the appropriate team members according to established escalation procedures.
  • Availability Uptime: Maintain software solution availability and data integration batch jobs uptime.
  • In-House App Support: Proactively support in-house applications using various monitoring tools.
  • System Reliability: Ensure system stability and implement continuous improvement initiatives using modern DevOps and cloud technologies (Pivotal Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, Azure).
  • Global Teamwork: Collaborate with global team members to resolve system issues.
  • Incident Record Keeping: Create and maintain incident resolution documentation.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with 3rd-party vendors for support, upgrades, and maintenance, following up on status and escalating when necessary.
  • Technical Solution Development: Recommend solutions to resolve technical system issues and improve environment stability.
  • Disaster Recovery Initiatives: Execute disaster recovery exercises for various applications.
  • Overtime Expectations: Overtime may be required due to project demands or unexpected circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Autonomous Work Style: Be self-motivated, autonomous, and a team player in a fast-paced environment.
  • Educational Qualifications: Possess a postsecondary degree in computer science or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
  • Team Collaboration: Show ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • Platform Management Experience: Have experience managing applications on OpenShift and Pivotal Cloud Foundry platforms.
  • Similar Role Experience Required: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Complex Platform Support Provided: Experience supporting complex, large-scale customer-facing platforms.
  • SQL Proficiency: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with SQL.
  • Proactive Problem-Solving: Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Effective Communication: Exhibit excellent writing and verbal communication skills, capable of effectively liaising independently with business users, team members, and technical groups.
