As a Marketing & Communication Manager at Esri Malaysia, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth through targeted campaigns, strategic planning, and innovative communication channels.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing integrated go-to-market (GTM) campaigns tailored to the Malaysian market across all marketing channels (web, social, digital, PR, etc.) to prioritize business growth and achieve sales targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute integrated go-to-market (GTM) campaigns tailored to the Malaysian market across all marketing channels (web, social, digital, PR, etc.) to prioritize business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Act as the in-market marketing expert, managing all campaign execution and delivering business value for the Malaysian market.
  • Collaborate with sales, client success teams, and group marketing colleagues to align marketing strategies with business objectives, focusing on brand awareness, demand generation, and lead generation.
  • Plan, deliver, and optimize marketing activities across paid, owned, and earned channels to drive measurable outcomes while maximizing return on marketing investment (ROMI).
  • Develop engaging, audience-specific content including case studies, media, email campaigns, and PR initiatives.
  • Report on and track campaign success, evaluate media spend, and use insights to refine marketing strategies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners and agencies to enhance brand positioning and impact within the Malaysian market.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business, marketing, or communications.
  • Minimum of 5 years and above experience as a marketing and/or communications manager, ideally supporting internal sales or partner teams to deliver business goals.
  • Strong practical knowledge of sales pipelines, forecasting, and budget management.
  • Proven track record of managing and executing integrated marketing programs across multiple channels, involving many stakeholders, and defined KPIs.
  • Practical knowledge of measuring campaign ROMI.
  • Experience in working with marketing, communications, and creative agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of how to balance competing business priorities and working with internal teams on aligned goals.
  • Strong English skills, written and spoken.
  • Enjoys working on cross-functional marketing and sales initiatives, as well as driving forward marketing plans.
  • Identifies targeted marketing opportunities by understanding consumer requirements and aligning these with sales and partner business goals.
  • Able to develop customer and partner value propositions to develop targeted communications and marketing strategies.
  • A natural collaborator who knows how to motivate and work with others.
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Data-driven, curious, and embracing change.
  • Excellent grammar with a high attention to detail, especially regarding written content.
  • Professional presentation, with a high emotional intelligence.
