Job Description

The Finance Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of accountants and financial analysts, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, and managing month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, excellent leadership skills, and experience in systems implementation projects.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and coach a team of 5-10 accountants and financial analysts to achieve high performance and deliver exceptional results.
  • Financial Operations: Manage the accounts payable function, including the preparation and review of reconciliations, analysis of discrepancies, and maintenance of process documentation.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the AP function and cross-functionally, and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Systems Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance system performance and process integration.
  • Timely Invoice Processing: Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices to maintain smooth financial operations.
