The Senior Accounting Director will be responsible for all finance and accounting activities, including month-end closing, forecasting, and budgeting. This position requires ensuring accurate financial statements and forecasting, as well as compliance with governmental institutions' requirements.

  • Drive the Finance & Accounts team to ensure smooth daily operations and sufficient cash flow.
  • Collaborate with the management team to support business growth.
  • Manage end-to-end finance functions and oversee month-end closing activities and financial reporting requirements.
  • Review financial statements for compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Communicate with financial institutions, external auditors, tax agents, customers, and company secretary.
  • Develop budgeting, forecasting, financial plans, and cost monitoring.
  • Assess internal controls and accounting standard operating procedures to safeguard assets and interests.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Professional degree in Accounting/Finance or professional certification like ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably 5 years in a management role.
  • Knowledge of business laws, Accounting Standards, Companies Act, SST Act, Income Tax Act, Withholding Tax Rulings, and custom requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and proactive management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial planning, analysis, forecasting, and financial compliance.
