Job Overview

This role involves overseeing and coordinating all aspects of corporate action activities within the Custody department at OCBC Bank. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to corporate actions custodian operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of corporate actions, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Overseeing end-to-end processing of corporate actions, including dividends, mergers, acquisitions, stock splits, rights issues, proxy voting, and Bursa CDS transactions.
  • Maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and execution of corporate actions.
  • Developing and implementing standardized procedures and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk in corporate action processing.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in Banking, Finance, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to effectively manage a team and drive results.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
