Job Overview
The Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Equipment role at Celestica involves developing and sourcing manufacturing equipment to support operational goals. This position may include designing and developing equipment, qualifying it, deploying it to manufacturing, improving its performance, and supporting programs to optimize efficiencies while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new standard automation solutions and/or 'off the shelf' equipment.
  • Support software and hardware upgrades and qualification of equipment.
  • Analyze Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) and other available data to improve hardware and software improvements of both Celestica-led developments and off-the-shelf equipment.
  • Program, qualify, deploy, optimize, and maintain equipment in manufacturing operations.
  • Execute maintenance activities under supervision.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Entry-level to 1 year of experience.
