We are seeking a charismatic and highly energetic individual to join our team as a Freelance Event Host in Penang, Malaysia. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating interactive social impact experiences for our corporate partners on location.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession that requires engaging and interacting with an audience. They will be comfortable interacting with groups of people as well as one-on-one to keep the events flowing and the participants engaged.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate fun, engaging, team-building, social impact activities, experiences, and events that support a great cause.
  • Welcome, engage, and inspire participants while supporting nonprofits in facilitating the in-person event.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Based in Penang, Malaysia.
  • Availability to work on a contract per event basis.
  • High energy, charismatic personality, and a sense of fun.
  • Background in acting, comedy, improv, or similar profession that requires engaging and interacting with an audience is a bonus but not required.
  • Experience with group facilitation and managing group dynamics.
  • Excellent customer service and presentation skills.
