Your Role in the Team

At ExxonMobil, we believe in empowering individuals to think independently, take initiative and grow professionally. As a member of our process engineering team, you will provide critical technical insights into Hydroprocessing and support ExxonMobil's manufacturing facilities globally.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Hydroprocessing Process Specialist to join our Kuala Lumpur Technology Center team. The position is based in Kuala Lumpur and involves close collaboration with our global process engineering team and manufacturing sites' teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and mentor colleagues to enhance the organization's capabilities on Hydroprocessing and Hydrocracking.
  • Evaluate, develop and deploy technologies within your area of expertise to deliver value to the business.
  • Provide process engineering technical leadership and support to operating sites on unit operation, optimization and troubleshooting during abnormal operation.
  • Function as process technology technical lead for capital project development from screening phase up to unit startup.
  • Support installation, commissioning and startup of grassroot or revamped facilities.
  • Lead or provide guidance on process modelling development, sustainment and development.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to develop, design, manufacture, test and deploy technologies or equipment.
