Key Responsibilities:
  • We require the assistance of the Data Centre Systems Specialist in commissioning related activities of electrical, mechanical, and data systems.
  • The specialist must perform system integration testing and factory acceptance tests (FAT) for critical equipment.
  • This role involves close collaboration with the design, construction, and operations teams to ensure seamless handover from construction to operational phase.
  • Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers for system installation and testing is also required.
  • The Data Centre Systems Specialist will provide post-installation support for system commissioning and troubleshooting.
  • They must prepare and maintain commissioning documentation, including test reports, certificates, and compliance checklists.
  • Promoting proper documentation of operational manuals, as-built drawings, and system performance reports is crucial.
  • Maintenance of compliance with design specifications, client requirements, and local regulations is essential.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in commissioning and servicing critical infrastructure systems, preferably in data centres or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety, IT systems, etc.) is required.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards, codes, and regulations is necessary.
