Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Space Planning Expert to join our team at Creationz Plus Sdn Bhd. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects, collaborating with clients, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions.

About the Role:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with the Design Lead and Business Development team to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, understanding their requirements and conveying clear objectives to the team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Work independently and proactively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and collaboration within the team.
  • Possess expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, construction methodologies, and office Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E) applications.
  • Design projects within defined parameters, adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
  • Continuously research and enhance design knowledge and skills, both individually and collaboratively.
  • Ensure high design quality within the project team while mentoring junior designers to enhance collaboration and skill development.
  • Comply with Malaysian building codes and local Building-By-Laws, effectively executing space planning.
  • Provide clear and structured project status reports to superiors.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed to achieve business and project goals.
  • Oversee quality control for all design document deliverables presented to clients.
  • Align work with company and department strategies, fostering a cohesive team environment.
  • Adhere to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the company's Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO37001, ISO45001, ISO14001).

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience managing the entire project lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to lead Design Consultancy and Design & Build projects.
