Job Description:
  • As a key member of the Private Advertiser team, you will oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring seamless integration of finance operations.
  • You will be responsible for forecasting and budgeting, handling tax matters, preparing financial reports, and maintaining organizational financial stability.
  • The role involves overseeing accounting, financial reporting, analysis, and preparation of financial statements for consolidation purposes, including schedules for tax compliance.
  • You will present financial reporting and potential risk areas to management, improving efficiencies and reducing costs across the business.
  • Closely working with management or executive teams, you will share reports and analysis findings to drive business decisions.
  • Maintaining cash flow management and planning for corporate headquarters is essential, aiming to improve cash flow by effective credit management and collection.
  • Collaboration with other departments on accounting issues and monthly closing activity is crucial.
  • Timely responses to internal and external audit recommendations are vital, ensuring that corrective action plans are developed and implemented where needed.
  • Liaison with auditors, tax agents, bankers, lawyers, Company Secretary, and other relevant professional parties or government agencies is required.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum LCCI diploma, Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing and handling full sets of accounts.
  • Familiarity with the SAP system is necessary.
  • An analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills is required.
  • Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices, compliant with MFRS &/or IFRS.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines is essential.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with good reporting and presentation skills.
  • Maintenance of high levels of confidentiality and integrity is expected.
  • A positive attitude, hard-working, and pleasant personality is necessary.
