Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team. As a Cloud Security Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security frameworks that protect our cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure, ensuring that all Azure deployments meet stringent security requirements.
  • Security Automation: Develop and deploy automation scripts and tools to enhance security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response within Azure environments.
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM): Architect and manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and other IAM solutions to control and audit access to cloud resources, ensuring secure identity and access management.
  • Data Protection: Implement Azure-native encryption, key management (Azure Key Vault), and data loss prevention (DLP) solutions to secure sensitive data within the cloud.
  • Compliance & Security Controls: Develop and enforce Azure-specific security policies and standards, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Threat Modeling & Risk Assessment: Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments tailored to Azure environments, implementing proactive measures to mitigate identified vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Incident Response & Forensics: Lead security incident response efforts for Azure-related incidents, including forensic investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective measures.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest Azure security trends, tools, and best practices, continuously refining and enhancing our Azure cloud security posture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Professional certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cloud security, with a strong focus on securing Azure cloud infrastructures in large-scale environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure-specific security architecture, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Policy.
  • Extensive experience with Azure-native security tools and services, such as Azure DDoS Protection, Azure Firewall, and Azure Defender.
  • Strong understanding of network security within Azure, including VNETs, VPN gateways, and secure API management.
  • Experience in designing and implementing security logging, monitoring, and alerting systems in Azure environments.
  • Ability to perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and penetration testing within Azure cloud environments.
