We are seeking a skilled Automation and Controls Engineer to join our team at Avery Dennison Corporation. In this role, you will support engineering improvements and be an expert in PLC and Control systems for machinery in the Bangi plant and Kajang Distribution Centre.

You will provide technical support during machine breakdowns, perform TPM activities on machinery control systems, and maintain equipment as required. You will also be responsible for creating, maintaining, and keeping current all documentation related to electrical and pneumatic schematics, panel layouts, and PLC programs.

Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety awareness daily and ensure zero recordable injury in all engineering activities.
  • Provide technical support in machine problem-solving and upgrading activities - troubleshooting and machine improvement initiatives.
  • Create, maintain, and keep current all documentation: electrical and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC programs, operator display, and operator interface.
