As an Automation and Controls Engineer at Avery Dennison, you will support engineering improvements and be an expert in PLC and Control systems for machinery in the Bangi plant and Kajang Distribution Centre. You will provide technical support during machine breakdowns, perform TPM activities on machinery control systems, and provide maintenance as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prioritize safety awareness daily and ensure zero recordable injury in all engineering activities.
  • Provide technical support in machine problem-solving and upgrading activities - troubleshooting and machine improvement initiatives.
  • Timely report writing and recording in maintenance reports for repair works done, monitoring of engineering equipment, and upkeep of electrical schematic diagrams.
  • Create, maintain, and keep current all documentation: electrical and pneumatic schematics; panel layouts; PLC programs, operator display, and operator interface.
