The Team

The Operations team at Airwallex ensures smooth service delivery and process optimization. We focus on streamlining workflows, improving operational efficiency, and delivering exceptional customer support.

Your Role

This newly created role will own the Malaysia operations function, ensuring seamless experiences for our customers. With rapid business expansion and growth in South East Asia, you'll have opportunities to build and lead a scalable team.

You'll optimize current processes, implement new ones, and ensure all rules and regulations are followed. The end goal is a seamless user experience.

This role is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify strategic projects to improve customer experience and operationalize internal functions
  • Take a data-driven approach to problem-solving
  • Work across functions to ensure stakeholder alignment and deliver desired outcomes
  • Help build processes for customer support
  • Manage daily AML/compliance program operations and monitoring
  • Work with Compliance Manager to operationalize emerging regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with product teams to promote Operations excellence
  • Monitor compliance operations functions, including transaction monitoring and name screening
  • Drive efficiency improvements in key compliance operations
  • Define key KPIs and build reports to enhance customer experience and drive efficiency
