Responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate and timely reports, presentations, and other materials to support purchasing decisions.
  • Compile, code, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, or verify information or data related to purchases.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in all aspects of purchasing, including food, beverage, and controllable costs.
  • Order food and beverages based on business needs and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain sanitation and safety standards as specified in brand guidelines.
  • Enforce proper safeguards for food and beverage storeroom assets and ensure security.
  • Communicate with kitchen, restaurant management, and vendors to ensure timely deliveries meet advanced food production needs.
  • Verify invoices against shipments to ensure quantity, quality, weights, and purchase specifications are correct.
  • Communicate price and product availability issues to the F & B Director and Executive Chef as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to LSOPs by all associates and receive and inspect all deliveries.
  • Administer all invoices accurately and adhere to proper bookkeeping procedures.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.
  • Use computers and computer systems to program, write software, set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Ensure events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards using individual judgment.
  • Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to your job.
  • Address disciplinary situations in a timely fashion and with consistency.
  • Submit reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
  • Monitor all applicable taxes, ensuring they are current, collected, and/or accrued.
  • Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person.
  • Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Use existing computer programs effectively to post invoices, update items, and costs.
  • Inform and/or update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
