Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Director to lead our Risk Assessment Monitoring and Insight team. The role reflects our commitment to upholding our brand promise, Here for Good. This is a global support role, covering SCB's presence across various regions, and spans multiple business lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Assessment: Support the performance of both inherent and residual risk assessments.
  • Control Monitoring: Dynamically monitor risk and controls.
  • Change Risk: Assess and manage risks associated with change initiatives.
  • Issue & Event Management: Manage issues and events, escalate as needed, and ensure timely reporting.
  • Risk Insights: Provide actionable risk insights to business stakeholders.
  • Data Quality: Identify and remediate data quality issues.
  • Horizon Scanning: Support horizon scanning product and related Knowledge Management System.
Requirements:
  • Overall experience in Banking or Financial Institution or Regulator or Fintech or equivalent industry.
  • Business & Contextual Experience in at least one of the below:
  1. Retail Banking
  2. Wealth Management
  3. Private Banking
  4. Transaction Banking – Trade
  5. Transaction Banking – Cash Management
  6. Markets (e.g., Sales & Trading, Global Credit Markets, Private Side)
Domain and Functional Experience in one of the below:
  1. OTCR – Operational, Technology and Cyber Risk
  2. Conduct & Compliance Risks
  3. Financial Crime Risks
