Job Description

Career Horizons is seeking a talented Quantitative Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning analytics team, you will be responsible for developing data science solutions, including algorithms and statistical predictive models to identify business challenges and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to explore new data sources and their potential use in developing practical business results.
  2. Develop mathematical, analytical, optimization, and artificial intelligence or machine learning models to support evidence-based decision making.
  3. Ensure overall quality of data and solutions throughout the analytic development process.
  4. Examine, interpret, and report analytical results in both written reports and oral presentations to varied audiences.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or any related field of study or a combination of education and equivalent experience.
  2. At least 4 years of modeling working experience in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or work equivalence.
  3. Proficient in some of the commonly used programming languages and software packages, such as Python, R, Spark, MATLAB, Scala, Java, etc., and/or data-warehouse & visualization tools such as Snowflake, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, WebFOCUS.
