Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Flow Assurance Engineer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As a key member of our Flow Assurance discipline, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all Flow Assurance personnel assigned to a project.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review job scope and provide estimates for activity completion as needed.
  • Develop and manage schedules for flow assurance activities.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and study managers to ensure objectives are met in a timely manner.
  • Assign specific project work instructions to each Flow Assurance resource.
  • Produce the Flow Assurance Simulation Basis.
  • Review and approve all relevant discipline data.
  • Ensure the distribution of technical data and coordinate case selection.
  • Liaise with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces.
  • Develop engineering solutions to specific project requirements.
  • Perform quality audits of all discipline models.
  • Perform simulations of selected cases as defined by the project.
  • Perform critical analysis and quality audits of engineering results.
  • Coordinate and progress discipline activities required to complete the job.
  • Participate in engineering coordination meetings.
  • Participate in project presentations to communicate results.
  • Review all data requested by clients and approve all discipline reports.
  • Participate in safety and design review meetings as necessary.
  • Participate in regular engineering progress review meetings and ensure corrective actions are taken when necessary.
  • Provide information as needed for estimating the cost of scope of work changes.
  • Prepare regular progress and status reports as required by clients and project managers.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant mandatory laws, regulations, and codes.
  • Ensure compliance with prescribed quality plans and participate in quality assurance audits.
  • Support the development of CTRs and proposals.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years dedicated Flow Assurance experience using OLGA.
  • Minimum first degree in Chemical Engineering (or related subject) and CEng &/or PEng.
  • Experience of HYSYS, OLGA, PIPESIM, PVTSim.
